Free INSET: Youth violence: What can schools do?

This is a single event.

Held in Coventry and funded by the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner

“No single agency, including schools, can solve knife crime on its own. But there are some areas of focus for schools and wider agencies individually, and together, that can be tightened to keep children and young people safer.” OFSTED 2019

This INSET is delivered by Peacemakers in partnership with Minus Violence. It is suitable for colleagues in primary, secondary, FE settings and staff working in alternative provision.

The training will be participatory and experiential. By the end of the session participants will have tools to take away and use in the classroom, questions for self-reflection, and learning to share with their school.

Terms and Conditions:

The workshop is funded by the West Midlands Police & Crime Commissioner and provided free of charge for the schools. However we will charge £50 in the event you cancel within seven days of the event, or fail to attend on the day.

Notes:

Refreshments of biscuits, tea, coffee, squash etc will be provided.
