Peacemakers

        • We want a world where people are equipped to deal peacefully and creatively with the inevitable conflicts that arise for all of us.

We work with schools, units, clubs, committees, teams, collectives and groups of people regardless of age or anything else.

We support people within communities to build, strengthen and repair relationships at all levels.

1 day Introduction to Restorative Approaches in Schools

This is a single event.

Peacemakers is running an introductory course to share the basics of what is meant by a restorative way of working in school.

A restorative approach offers an alternative way of addressing discipline and behavioural issues and offers a consistent framework for responding to these issues. The aim of this training is to contribute to the building of a strong, mutually respectful, safe, inclusive and peaceful school community.

If you’ve had our restorative training before, please use this opportunity to ‘top up’ both existing and new staff.

What will this course do?

  • Help you to sort out minor problems in the classroom and on the playground.
  • Help you to help children develop empathy and build relationships with one another.
  • Develop your conflict resolution skills.
  • Help you to support others who are developing restorative practices for the school.
