Learning for Peace

Learning for Peace is a practical guide offers engaging activities for children aged 4-11 to explore peace withing themselves, in their relationships, their community and the wider world. Using playful, inclusive approaches based on circle work, Learning for Peace fosters essential skills like empathy, communication, conflict resolution and cooperation.

Part 1 of the resource, What is Peace Education?, introduces these four themes of peace and give advice about building a peaceful school environment, while Part 2 supports school leaders with planning for peace education and the approaches and structure that support a pedagogy for peace. Part 3 is the Toolkit which shares approaches, games and activities which we use in schools on a daily basis.
