Peacemakers

        • We want a world where people are equipped to deal peacefully and creatively with the inevitable conflicts that arise for all of us.

We work with schools, units, clubs, committees, teams, collectives and groups of people regardless of age or anything else.

We support people within communities to build, strengthen and repair relationships at all levels.

Bus Campaign 2017

Children and staff from 9 schools came together for a series of workshops held at the Peace Hub during 2017.  They explored their understanding of peace and how they could make a difference in their schools and communities.  Four children from each school were involved and they became our 2017 Junior Peacemakers. The workshops culminated in an event at the Priory Rooms.  Here we discussed how we feel about traveling into the city centre and what it is like to be on the buses.  The children wanted to send a positive message to people traveling on the buses over the Christmas period.

Show Someone you Care – Share a Smile is their message to help build peace in Birmingham.

The campaign ran on the inside of 70 Birmingham buses for 4 weeks from 11th December 2017.

Spotted! On the No. 33 and the 97!
