Strategy

Extensive consultations over 2016 with people we already work with, and those we are yet to work with, revealed interest in not only expanding our current work with schools and in education generally but also in working with young people in informal settings and working with local communities. We want to use peace education to promote well-being, tackle polarisation, learn how to make a difference, to dialogue,  think critically and look at identity.

We also want to provide opportunities for children and young people to voice their needs for peace and their contribution to building it.

This all culminated in three broad strategic aims:

Strategic Aims

Innovation:

Taking Peacemakers out into the wider community.

Consolidation:

We will continue to create peace with more school communities in the West Midlands.

Proclamation:

Influence attitudes to peace education by engagement with policy makers and commissioners.
